Who Was Gabe Rygaard?
Gabe was cast in the second season of the Ax Men series and he was loved by many viewers. After the second season went well, Gabe passed away in a horrific car accident that occurred in his hometown. He was a married man and his wife shared the news on social media by writing that she never imagined that Gabe would pass away and that he was a supporting pillar to her family. She added that she cannot mold her pain in words. Gabe’s father returned the same year when Gabe was cast in the TV series and when Gabe passed away, the show was still running and was successfully viewed by many people. His death was untimely and unpredicted.
What Happened With Gabe Rygaard?
As per the sources, the accident occurred in 2016 and Gabe died on the 16th of September 2016 following the accident. As the reports of police suggest, there was an accident that occurred in Port Angeles in which three vehicles collided with one another and there were a total of seven people were found in the three cars. Amongst them, one was Gabe who passed away as a result of the injuries that he sustained in the car accident. This accident occurred in Port Angeles, Washington. Gabe was driving a white Ford Bronco and then he got involved in the accident. As per the reports, Gabe was not wearing his seat belt, and in order to safeguard himself from a coming vehicle, he snipped and which lead to a major clash between three cars.

Apart from Gabe others were sustained with minor injuries but Gabe got injured seriously and he was transferred to the nearby Olympics hospital. There he succumbed to his injuries and died at the age of 45. Gabe was not the only one who died in a tragic way, there were other casts from the show who passed away even before Gabe died. The other casts who died untimely and were a part of the Ax Men show were Jimmy Smith and William Colantuono. Jimmy passed away as a result of cancer back in 2012 while William passed away as a result of a gruesome helicopter crash back in 2013. Gabe was survived by his dad, wife Katy Sotebeer, and three children as well. Aiden, Trilby Bowe, and Tucker are the three children of Gabe.
